High airtightness requirements demand flexible solutions
The requirements for airtightness in modern construction are high – and especially around details, corners, and uneven surfaces, traditional membrane solutions can fall short. The liquid, spray-applied vapour barriers AEROSANA VISCONN and AEROSANA VISCONN FIBRE offer a flexible and efficient method for airtight sealing on timber and masonry structures where precision is critical. Both products are developed by German manufacturer pro clima, with BetaPack as the exclusive distributor in Denmark.
The membranes can be applied using an airless spray system, brush, or roller and work directly into the structure of the substrate. AEROSANA VISCONN provides a smooth, elastic seal, while the FIBRE version – with fibre reinforcement – can bridge cracks and joints of up to 20 mm.
The AEROFIXX spray gun makes application even faster and more precise, especially in corners, behind installations, and in other confined areas.
Both products are water-based and meet the strict low-emission requirements of the AgBB / ISO 16000 standards.
The latest generation is also frost-resistant down to –15 °C, making the membranes robust and easy to store on site all year round.
With the combination of flexible application, strong adhesion, and documented performance, the AEROSANA system offers a reliable and practical solution for airtightness in both new construction and renovation projects.
