Properties

The underlay tightener keeps the roofing underlay membrane tensioned and reduces the risk of wear and holes caused by movement in the underlay. The product is made from flexible, UV-resistant material that retains its tension and position over time.

Application

For tightening roll roofing underlays in new builds and renovation projects. Can be used with most roofing underlay systems and helps direct any penetrating water towards the gutter.

Installation

The underlay tightener is normally installed on every 2nd–3rd batten, depending on the tension of the roofing underlay. It is fastened with the supplied strap around the batten. The integrated Snap-Lock solution ensures quick and simple installation.

Limitations

The product must be used as part of a correctly installed roofing underlay solution. Quantity and placement depend on the roof structure and underlay type.
