alpha Underlay Ventilation Fitting In/Out for effective ventilation and airing of cold roof spaces. The ventilation fitting is installed quickly and efficiently from the inside and is particularly suitable for retrofitting where exterior access is difficult. The product helps reduce the risk of moisture and rot in the roof structure.

Product information

Properties

The ventilation fitting ensures effective air circulation in the roof space and helps reduce condensation and moisture build-up. It can be installed in materials with thicknesses from 0.2–25 mm and has a ventilation area of 56 cm². Made from polypropylene.

Application

For ventilation of cold roof spaces in connection with vapour-permeable, vapour-tight and rigid roofing underlay constructions. Suitable for both new builds and renovation projects.

Installation

Installed between the battens, approximately 15 cm from the rafter. The fitting is installed from the inside and locked in place using the integrated Snap-Lock function. The roofing underlay is positioned between the cover and the base section, after which the strap is tightened. The base section must only be pulled over the strap once.

Limitations

As a general rule, roof spaces must be ventilated with a minimum of 1/500 of the built-up area. Ventilation sizing must be carried out in accordance with applicable guidelines and project specifications.
