New Specialist Strengthens BetaPack’s Focus on Quality and Sustainability

We’re excited to welcome Susie Sommer Mikkelsen as our new Quality, Compliance & ESG Specialist at BetaPack.

Susie brings a strong professional profile that combines technical expertise from the life science industry with project management experience from both private and public organisations. She has previously worked with project coordination, process optimisation, quality assurance, and stakeholder management at Taconic Biosciences and Eurofins Genomics.

Susie also holds a PhD in medicine from Aarhus University and has built a research-based career in molecular biology, diagnostics, and virology at institutions such as DTU and Aarhus University.

At the end of 2023, Susie was part of BetaPack through the Green Agent programme under the Green Academy at Business Academy Aarhus. During this period, she worked on double materiality assessments, CSRD, and ESG strategy – and we’re very pleased to have her back in a new and vital role.

Susie will lead efforts in:

• Quality assurance and quality management
• ESG development and organisational integration
• Product documentation
• Compliance (including Producer Responsibility, EUDR, GDPR and more)
